JAMMU, Oct 18: With performing of Havan for paying tribute to the student martyrs of 1966, who had sacrificed their lives for the Jammu cause, three-day long fast by JJSF activists concluded today near Shaheedi Sthal in front of GGM Science College Jammu.
A number of JJSF volunteers, led by Pushvinder Singh Manhas State President JJSF and others, paid floral tribute to the student martyrs.
Vice Chancellor Cluster University, Prof Bechan Lal; Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Principal GGM Science College; Dr Surinder Kumar, Principal SPMR College of Commerce; DN Mehta, along with other dignitaries offered juice to Keshav Malhotra, Bharat Verma, Vishal Kumar and Ritik Verma, who were observing fast from 16th October in memory of 1966 student martyrs.
The ABVP Jammu Mahanagar team also visited the Shahidi Sthal and paid floral tribute to the student martyrs.
ABVP activists, who paid tribute, included Harish Sharma (Joint Secretary ABVP Jammu Mahanagar), Ganesh Bhardwaj (Social media Incharge ABVP Jammu Mahanagar), Varun Manhas, Aniket Choudhary, Azar Choudhary, Tushar Panday, Ekalavya Salathia and others.
