JAMMU, Dec 25: Jammu and Kashmir were comfortably placed at 310/7 against formidable Hyderabad in the ongoing Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy at Gymkhana Cricket ground, Hyderabad.
Talented opening batsman Jiyaad Nazir Magray scored season’s second consecutive century (131), while Tahsin Dar was unbeaten on 85 runs and Vivrant contributed valuable 65 runs. Jiyaad scored the runs in 214 balls, studded with 18 boundaries and 2 sixes, while Tahsin and Vivrant took 171 and 98 balls respectively for their innings’. Jiyaad was in fabulous touch and hit the ball with fluid grace and utter brilliance. From Hyderabad, E Sanketh and G Anketh Ready bagged 32 wickets each.
