UDHAMPUR, Oct 27: Due to callous attitude of the concerned authorities and no repair, main road to Jib is lying in bad condition with potholes here and there.
Inhabitants of village Jib and adjoining area are suffering because of this worst condition of the road, which requires black topping and repair.
A number of villages, including Jib Majalta, Padanoo, Manmala, Nili Nallah, Bal Nagar, Mongraly Ashram, Bdola and Kambal Danga are linked to Katra through this road. Three kilometer stretch of this MES road is in worst condition from Jib Morh to Jib Chowk. This is the only surface link for these people to District Headquarters Udhampur.
Alleging no action by the administration and MES authorities to repair this road and improve its condition, locals of village Jib and adjoining area also held a protest demonstration today. They raised slogans against the District Administration and MES authorities.
