JDS delegation meets Div Com, highlights various issues

JAMMU, May 11: A delegation of State unit of Janta Dal (S) led by State party president, Mast Nath Yogi, met Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Pawan Kotwal, and took up the problems being faced by the Jammuites.
The delegation expressed resentment over increasing traffic problem in Jammu and demanded widening of roads and immediate start of construction work of the flyover already accepted by the State Government.
Alleging that people of Jammu are being deprived of advanced health facilities by hijacking the AIIMS announced for Jammu to valley, where there is already Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences with advanced facilities to treat even cancer, the delegation demanded an AIIMS for Jammu.
The delegation while claiming that the ration depots in the State are running without ration for past three months demanded immediate supply of ration at all the depots to mitigate the sufferings of the common masses.
The JDS delegation further demanded immediate establishment of National Institute of Sports in Jammu to train youths in various sports activities to check unemployment and exploitation of un-employed youth by the vested interests.
Besides others, State working president of the party, Ranjay Barogtra and acting president, RR Sharma, were also part of the delegation.
