JDA removes encroachments

JAMMU, May 14: As part of continuous anti-encroachment drive, the enforcement of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) dismantled 4 steel fabricated structures, 4 wooden structures/khokha and removed 25 reharies from Transport Nagar area.
As per the directions of Vice Chairman, JDA Mubarak Singh, enforcement team headed by Director Land Management, JDA  Gurvinderjit Singh and Narinder Singh, Khilafwarzi officer along with all the Khilafwarzi Inspectors and field staff got dismantled 4 steel fabricated truck bodies which were being used as khokhas on JDA land at Transport Nagar.
The team also dismantled 3 newly created fabricated structures on the main road opposite SOS village/school raised un-authorizedly and were creating problems for smooth vehicular moments and making the area accident prone.
The team also removed 25 reharis parked un-authorisdly on main road Transport Nagar Narwal.
SDPO Jammu East Mohammad Rafiq Manhas had made arrangements for police assistance whereas in charge police post Narwal PSI Vishal extended full cooperation on spot for conducting the anti-encroachment drive smoothly.
