JAMMU, May 25: Seeking enhancement in the daily wages, JDA Employees Welfare Association Jammu today went on indefinite strike.
The protesting employees assembled in the premises of the JDA Rail Head Jammu and held a demonstration amidst raising of slogans in support of their demand.
While addressing the gathering, president of the JDA Employees Welfare Association said that they had already served a notice to the Vice-Chairman that if their demand for enhancement of wages is not conceded, the employees shall observe strike on May 25 and the same shall continue till the demand is agreed upon.
