JAMMU, Sept 8: Jammu Development Authority (JDA) demolished five concrete structures in village Sidhra-Majeen.
An official spokesman said that, a team headed by Director Land Management, JDA Gurvinderjeet Singh, Chief Khilafwarzi Officer Narinder Singh, Tehsildar Zone-(B) JDA Ashraf Parvaiz, KWO, Pankaj S Sambyal, Khilfawarzi Inspector’s Girdhari Lal Pandita, Balbir Siingh, Rajinder S Choudhary and Parshotam Kumar along with revenue wing and other field staff removed encroachments being raised at Village Sidhra-Majeen by Babli and Jumma.
“Jumma and Babli raised unauthorized structures on JDA land”, he said, adding that FIRs against them have been registered at Sidhra police post.
Meanwhile, the team also stopped the ongoing illegal constructions by Shabir Ahmad, son of Abdul Ghani, Talib Hussain, son of Ghulam Qadir, Haji Khanday, Rafoq Hussain, son of Kaku, Kuku Choudhary, son of Nathu Choudhary, Rasool, son of Mohammad Shafi and Abdul Rashid and seized the tools used in the construction work.
JDA enforcement team was provided the police protection by the Incharge Police Post Sidhra Noor Ahmad on the direction of SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bushan Sharma and SHO Police Station Nagrota Dalip Singh.
