JAMMU, June 18: Vice Chairman, Jammu Development Authority, Satesh Nehru, on Tuesday chaired Building Operation Controlling Authority (BOCA) meeting, which was the first meeting held after the online system started in JDA.
All the building permission cases received till date were discussed in the meeting and were cleared, except one, which will generate a revenue to the extent of Rs. 70 lakh to JDA to be spent for the development of Jammu.
Among others the meeting was attended by Chief Town Planner, JDA, who is member Secretary BOCA, and other concerned officers and officials were present in the meeting.
The VC, who is Chairman BOCA, appealed the public not to go far construction without getting their plans approved by the competent authority which is mandatory and is also in their interest and public on the whole.
He assured that these meetings will be held on regular basis for timely disposal of building permission cases so that they may not have to face inconvenience in this regard.
