JAMMU: A Junior Commissioned Officer was martyred while two civilians injured as Pakistan troops on Tuesday yet again violated the ceasefire by shelling mortars and unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri and Poonch districts.
“One JCO attained martyrdom in cross border firing along the LoC in Nowshera sector of Rajouri on Tuesday evening,” defence spokesman here said.
Meanwhile, two civilians have also suffered injuries in cross border firing in Mendhar area this morning and have been admitted to the sub-district hospital, Rahul Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, Poonch here said. (AGENCIES)
