JAMMU, Mar 2: J&K Government Employees and Workers Federation, a constituent of JCC, has expressed strong resentment against the alleged anti-employees attitude of the State Government.
In a meeting of the Federation held under the leadership of S. Kulwant Singh- president of the Federation, the members alleged that Government was back-tracking from the written agreement signed between JCC leadership and the Government representatives on September 15, 2011. The Government had sought time up to September 30, 2012 while the agreement had been reviewed on July 8, 2012 for implementation.
The Government had agreed enhancement of retirement age of the employees from 58 to 60 years, removal of pay anomalies of different cadre, budgetary support to PSUs and framing a policy for the regularization of daily rated workers who have completed seven years of service. It is unfortunate that more than one and half year has passed but the Government has not honoured its commitment.
Ravinder Singh, Rohit George, Shahid Hussain, Subash Chnader, K S Jamwal, Yash Pal, Tanvir Shawl, Farid Fani and others were also present.
