JAMMU, Mar 2: To facilitate the working women, Euro Care Organisation has launched a new concept of crèche facility.
Raman Bhalla, Minister for Housing, Horticulture, Culture and Youth Services and Sports along with renowned Bollywood Actor Mukesh Rishi inaugurated the Euro Care crèche facility.
Addressing the gathering, Bhalla asked the unemployed youth to start their own ventures for earning a dignified livelihood, adding that for this purpose Government has launched number of self-employment vetures.
Minister said the Government cannot provide job to every unemployed youth of the State and the need is to encourage self-employment schemes to save the youth from self-destruction. He said that Sher-e-Kashmir Employment and Welfare Policy for youth is a step forward to promote such ventures.
Bhalla stressed upon the officers to provide proper information and guidance to the unemployed youth so that they can avail the benefits of various self-employment schemes.
This crèche facility will help the working women and will provide their infants and toddlers a better care, Minister added. Bhalla said crèche and day care services are not only required by the working mother but also women belonging to poor families who have to move outside their home for earning livelihood.
Speaking on the occasion, Mukesh Rishi said that introduction of this new pattern will be of great help for working women especially who are in profession with long working hours.
Psychologist and former Director Colleges Prof Muqbil Chisti and locals including prominent personalities were present were also present on the occasion.
