JAMMU, Mar 2: A meeting of Jagti Coordination Committee (JCC) was held today under the chairmanship of Bansi Lal Koul chairman of the Committee.
The meeting was attended by office bearers and members of the Committee.
The meeting demanded immediate transfer of ration cards of migrant families shifted to Jagti as they are facing difficulties in collecting the ration from their previous places.
Ravi Zutshi president of the Committee while expressing his confidence of PDP –BJP coalition expressed the hope that it will deal with migrants’ problems on priority basis. He demanded improvement in water supply in Jagti camp besides providing other basic amenities to the migrants living there, enhancement of cash relief and implementation of PM’s employment package in letter and spirit.
The meeting demanded one time compensation for migrant Pandits for the damaged properties in Valley since 1990 and permanent rehabilitation of the community.
The meeting was attended by B L Raina, S L Tickoo, Vijay Koul, Chand Jee, Inder Jee Labroo, Ashok Dilbar, B L Dhar, Rajiv Bhat, Sanjay Raina, Chaman Lal, Anu Koul, etc.
