JAMMU, Sept 16: To completely wiped out terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir, there is urgent need to do another surgical strike in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and destroying terror launch pads from which Pakistan is still sending terrorists in Kashmir to derail peace and development in the Union Territory.
This was stated by Jayesh Gupta, senior leader of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) while addressing a press conference, here today. “How long will we keep watching our soldiers die,” he questioned while expressing anguish and deep sorrow over recent killing of high-ranked officers of Army and J&K Police by the terrorists in Anantnag. He demanded stern action against the Pakistan sponsored terrorists responsible for the killing of the officers in Anantnag and Rajouri.
Lambasting PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti and NC president Farooq Abdullah for their support towards the dialogue process with Pakistan, Jayesh said these politicians have been saying the same thing for so many years, irrespective of the fact that in the past whenever the dialogues were started with Pakistan, it always backstabbed India.
“There is no point of starting any dialogue process with Pakistan at all. At this time, there is a need to respond to Pakistan in the language it understands. Like 2019, Indian Army should resort to another surgical strike in PoK to destroy all the terror launch pads establishing by the rogue country on other side of the border,” he added.
The senior AAP leader said that next step of Government of India should be to take back PoK, a vast area of Kashmir which has been illegally occupied by Pakistan. This will be a bold step which will completely wiped out terrorism from the heaven of earth.
