JAMMU, Aug 26: Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust here today celebrated the 700th Jayanti of Goddess Lallishwari.
The celebrations were observed in Jammu Bhawan of Mata Shree Roop Bhawani at Tirath Nagar, Talab Tillo and at many places in Kashmir valley like Dedhmar Temple of the Goddess in Nawakadal, Mata Shree Roop Bhawani’s Taposthal in Waskura, at Manigam in Ganderbal and Taposthal Cheshma Sahibi.
The celebrations started with invocation of Goddess Lallishwari with Guru Mantra.
The programme started with Deep Prajwalan followed by recitation of Mata Shree’s Wakhs, Pushparchan.
Keeping in view the prevailing COVID-19 restrictions a small Hawan was solemnized observing social distancing followed by recitation of selected Lalla Wakhs.
The celebrations concluded with a prayer to the Goddess, whom Mata Shree Roopbhawani has referred to as her Param Guru in Rahsyaupdesh Wakhs, to end the COVID-19 pandemic and provide relief to the humanity.
