MENDHAR, Nov 11: National Conference candidate and Deputy Chairman of J&K Legislative Council, Javed Ahmed Rana today addressed a series of election rallies in Mendhar constituency.
He told the people that National Conference was the only secular political and democratic party, which has enlarged it public base across the State because of it agenda of development and corruption free good governance.
Highlighting the revolutionary pace of development made by Omar Abdullah led Government during the last six years, Javed Ahmed Rana said that even most remote areas of the State, like Pir Panjal range received focused attention during the tenure of this Government.
Creation of new administrative units is a step towards realization of dream of progress and prosperity with administration coming at the door step of people who will have a feeling of empowerment, he said adding that new unit will usher the area in new phase of development and progress.
Stating that the Omar Government laid stress on a strong edifice for making J&K a self reliant State, Javed Rana listed the high priority sectors like Power generation, tourism and industrial potential, infrastructure development and road connectivity to remote and hilly areas, which got special attention.
The NC leader asked the people to vote intelligently and remain vigilant against the forces, which coerce and pitch them against each other for political benefits. He appealed the people to strengthen hands of National Conference for ensuring that the development tempo continues in Jammu and Kashmir.
