JAMMU, June 1: Jangi Lal Mahajan has been re-elected as president of All India Mahajan Shiromani (AIMS) for the next two years.
A meeting of the executive committee of All India Mahajan Shiromani was held at Mahajan Bhavan, Haridwar. During the meeting, the executive members discussed the issue of the upcoming election of the president.
General Secretary Rajendra Gupta and many members, while speaking on the occasion, said that present president Jangi Lal Mahajan should give two more years so that the projects which are left incomplete can be completed completely.
Though present president expressed his inability to hold the post any more but all the members of the executive committee managed to convince him and he (Jangi Lal Mahajan) was unanimously declared as president for the next two years by all the members of the executive committee.
Accordingly, general secretary dissolved his entire cabinet and assured the members that he will announce a new cabinet soon.
