Jan urges YNC cadre to reach out to people

JAMMU, Sept 6: Youth National Conference (YNC) Provincial President Ajaz Jan today urged the workers to reach out to the people in their areas and help by taking up their problems in appropriate forums for redressal.
Addressing YNC workers at Sher-i-Kashmir Bhawan, Jan described National Conference as a force to reckon with and a mass movement that has been in the forefront to serve the people of Jammu and Kashmir, irrespective of religion and region.
Referring to large presence of youth in the meeting, he expressed concern over bleak prospect for unemployed educated due to ambiguity on the recruitment process and lackadaisical approach of the designated agencies in filling up of vacancies in almost all the Government departments.
While dwelling upon the prevailing scenario, Jan exhorted the National Conference cadre to shoulder their crucial responsibilities towards people and remain in the forefront to meet challenges. He said National Conference has a chequered history of public service and it’s role in upholding the dignity and identity of the people, irrespective of religion and region cannot be ignored or undermined.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Provincial Secretary Tejinder Pal Singh Aman from Jammu, Riaz Malik District President Samba, Rakesh Kumar District President from Kathua, Provincial Secretary Akash Verma from Udhampur, Rohit Bali, etc.
