Jammu’s Ronav Parihar makes big-screen debut in Dharma Productions’ ‘Sarzameen’

JAMMU, July 16: It’s a proud moment for Jammu as 15-year-old Ronav Parihar is all set to make his big-screen debut in Dharma Productions’ upcoming film ‘Sarzameen’, which will premiere on JioHotstar on July 25.
The young talent from Jammu has landed a pivotal role in the film, which stars acclaimed actors Kajol, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan and marks the directorial debut of Kayoze Irani.

Ronav, son of Manoj Parihar and Nidhi Jamwal, was selected for the film after a rigorous audition process conducted by renowned casting director Panchami Ghavri. His journey began with a school-level audition and culminated in a final selection round held in Mumbai, where his performance stood out among hundreds of aspirants.
What makes Ronav’s achievement even more commendable is his unwavering commitment to academics. Despite traveling across different locations in the country for the film’s shooting, he ensured that his studies were never compromised. Utilizing his spare time between shoots, he kept up with his lessons and balanced both his passion and education with remarkable discipline.
The film ‘Sarzameen’ is a deeply emotional narrative based on the bond between a father and son amidst a terror incident in the Kashmir Valley-adding to the significance of Ronav’s debut, as he represents a region central to the film’s storyline.
