JAMMU Nov 28: National Conference candidate for Jammu West Dharamvir Singh Jamwal reiterated that upgrading civic amentities, stepping up development and improving utility services of the constituency shall remain priority for him during the next six years.
“We have to improve the conditions of the constituency and this cannot be done unless you lend your support”, he exhorted the electors during meetings at Gujjar Basti, Lakkar Mandi, Old Janipur, New Plot and Power House areas.
On this occasion, Choudhry Chitta Khan joined the National Conference.
Mr Jamwal said that Jammu West has potential to grow as a vibrant constituency and every step will be taken to harness its potential by channelizing the development in proper direction. He said the most required power and drinking water supply will get focussed attention while there is need for further improving the utility services.
The National Conference candidate exhorted the people to join in the upcoming democratic exercise in a big way and become part of the decision making. He said his party has all along strived for satisfying the urges and aspirations of the people irrespective of caste, creed, religion or region. “In this effort, the Chief Minister needs whole-hearted support of the people who believe in progress and development of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh”, he added.
Mr Jamwal exuded confidence that National Conference will give a strong and stable Government that will take care of the interests of the people and sustain progress registered on the front of development, peace and economic stability.
