Jammu Printer conferred ‘National Award for Excellence’

JAMMU, Jan 17: Arun Gupta of Arun Art Printers has yet again been conferred two national awards for maintaining proficiency and quality excellence in the field of printing consistently over a period of past three decades.
Gupta received these awards at the 11th edition of the National Awards for Excellence in Printing (NAEP) held at New Delhi during a function organized by All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) in which HV Sheth (president, IPAMA) was the chief guest.
Arun Art Printers received two National Awards for Excellence in Printing for printing fortnightly newspapers “Eight A.M.” and “Jammu Links”.
The impressive function was held at Hotel Pride Plaza, Aerocity, New Delhi. AIFMP received 1800 entries in different categories including newspapers, book printing, posters, calendars, catalogue, diaries, packaging material, digital printing, etc which were divided into small, medium and big categories. This time the new editions of the award were kept for Small Printers also.
This is one of the most prestigious awards in the print industry recognized by Government of India and the function in this regard was hosted by Delhi Printers Association. This 11th edition of National Awards for Excellence in Printing witnessed a Pan-Indian participation as entries poured in from Jammu in the North to Cochin in the South, from Surat in the West to Imphal in the East as also from places like Dimapur and Viradhu.
Pankaj Sethi and Ravi Gupta of Jammu and Kashmir Offset Printers Association also attended the function.
