JAMMU, Jan 11: Jammu Mayor, Rajinder Sharma, inaugurated winter carnival on the eve of Lohri here today.
As per a statement, the inauguration programme was presided over by former Minister Priya Sethi and BJP Vice-President Yudhvir Sethi.
After inauguration of the carnival, the Mayor, Rajinder Sharma said, “the main attractions of the winter carnival are community programmes, fun and frolic, food festivals and game events for the toddlers”.
Pertinently, the winter carnival beginning today is being organised by Asian Associates, a firm owned by prominent businessman of Jammu, Sanjay Vohra.
BJP Jammu Mahila Morcha Vice-President Anita Gandotra also attended the inauguration programme.
