JAMMU, Jan 6: Shri Devsthan Baba Bhair Dev Trust Katal Batal Nagrota has urged all legislators of Jammu region to take up the issue of construction of road from Katal Batal Nagrota leading upto Bhair Devsthan in the ongoing Assembly session.
Addressing the Trust meeting here, its president Balwant Singh, general secretary   Ramesh Sharma and prominent social activist Subash Shastri brought home the point that the said road measuring three kilometers will greatly help the pilgrim tourist in the area owing to significance and sanctity of Bhair Dev Shrine.
The trustees expressed concern that a proposal submitted in this regard already by PWD authorities to Commissioner Secretary an year ago,  has not been examined in spite of the fact that currently more than two thousand pilgrims visit the shrine in a week.
The trustees have reminded Jammu representatives that ignoring the issue will be a disservice to Jammu’s cause.
Among others, who were also present on the occasion, included Om Parkash Sharma, Joginder Singh, Ashok Kumar, Girdhari Lal, Master Swarn Singh, Chander Shekhar, Krishan Singh, Kirpal Singh, Subash Sharma, Surinder Singh, Mohan Lal and Tarsem Sharma.
