KATHUA, Mar 26: BJP general secretary, Dr Narinder Singh today said that the people across the country want to see Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of the country again.
Addressing series of election meetings in Billawar, Basohli and Bani, he said people have themselves seen the real development, socio-economic upliftment of the weaker sections, justice to all, concern for ex-servicemen, farmers, economically poor, border people, refugees, youth etc shown by Prime Minister and BJP during last five years of party rule.
He said that the State of Jammu & Kashmir too has been gifted numerous projects and schemes. Jammu province got due share in all matters for the first time in the history, he added.
Dr. Narinder Singh, along with State spokesperson Brig.(retd) Anil Gupta, ex-MLA, Jeevan Lal and other senior leaders, during the extensive touring of different areas of Kathua district, held series of meeting with Mandal teams and Shakti Kendra Pramukh, besides chairmen and presidents of Municipal Committee and Councils.
They also inaugurated the Election Offices at Bani and Bhoond in Basohli block, interacted with the people of different walks of life and urged upon them to support and vote BJP candidate in the forthcoming elections of Lok Sabha.
Dr. Narinder Singh, in these meetings, sought details related to the organizational setup and also discussed major developmental projects and welfare schemes being extended to these areas.
He said that the sitting MP and party’s candidate for Udhampur-Doda-Kathua Parliamentary Constituency, Dr. Jitendra Singh has worked round the clock in five years to mitigate the sufferings of the people and brought record number of projects in Kathua, which remained ignored during 55 years of Congress rule at the Centre.
He asked the party activists to reach the doorsteps of the people with pro-people, pro-development, pro-women, pro-farmers, schemes of the BJP under Narendra Modi Government.
Brig. Anil Gupta, while addressing meetings, applauded the concern of BJP Government at the Centre towards serving soldiers and the ex-servicemen of the country and said that morale of the security forces has gone high in the last five years.
BJP Working Committee Member & Prabhari, Basohli, Gopal Mahajan, ex-MLA, Kuldeep Kumar and district general secretary, Inderjit Sharma also accompanied Dr. Narinder Singh.
