JAMMU, Feb 13: A delegation of prominent persons from different walks of life, headed by Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Jugal Kishore Sharma, called on Minister of Human Resource Development, Govt of India, Parkash Javadekar for seeking sufficient arrangements for the promotion of Technical Higher Education, Commonwealth Scholarship in United Kingdom sponsored by the Govt of India.
The delegation comprised of Adv B S Jamwal, Arun Sharma (Educationist), Parkash Singh Jamwal (Member J&K Advisory Kissan Board), Sanjeev Manmotra (Member of Advisory Board of Northern Railway) and Rajinder Sharma.
The Minister gave a patient hearing and assured the consideration of all such cases of the students of J&K State pending with the Ministry as well as particular case of Akhil Sharma who has been selected to undergo higher education BA (Hons) Music Production & Sound Engineering Degree from POINT BLANK, Electronic Music School, London, for the new session to be started on 3rd of April 2017 and he needs all financial assistance for the said higher education at abroad. Jugal Kishore Sharma forcefully advocated the cause of the students of J&K State and impressed upon the HRD Minister, for the generous approach for the promotion of Higher Technical Education at abroad and providing all financial assistance keeping in view the financial condition not upto the mark of the students of J&K State.
Furthermore, Mr Sharma also called on Minister of Railways Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu and removal of bottle necks on Jammu-Pathankot Railway and provide world class basic civic immunities to the passengers and particularly the devotee passengers of Mata Vaishno Devi. The Ministry assured that the matter has already been under active consideration of the Government.
