JAMMU, July 25: The civil society of  Jammu representing various social, religious, industries and trade organizations of the province, showing their concern over the present unrest and turmoil prevailing in the State,  has resolved to launch All Jammu Civil Society Forum (AJCSF).
The members authorized Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister  and president Dogra Sadar Sabha, J&K and Abdul Majid,  president Muslim Federation Jammu to form adhoc committee comprising of 25 to 31 members giving representation to the various organizations and communities of Jammu province for keeping further the aims and objectives approved by the civil society.
During the meeting of adhoc committee held under the chairmanship of Annil Suri, former president Bari-Brahmana Industries Association, it was finally decided to launch AJCSF. The house unanimously elected Gulchain Singh Charak  and Abdul Majid as convenor and co-convenor, respectively, of the Forum. They were also authorized to nominate other office bearers  and members of the working committee of the Forum. It was also resolved that ad hoc committee be converted into the working committee and the said committee be expanded by giving representation to all the districts of Jammu region.
YV Sharma, former CCI president, dwelt in detail the aims and objectives of the Forum. The Forum appealed to all the sections of  the civil society to come forward to maintain peace and tranquility in the State in view of prevailing circumstances.

Attar Singh-(president Distributors Association Raghunath Bazaar, Jammu province), Vijay Gupta (president Kanak Mandi Association Jammu),  Krishan Lal Gupta (Chairman Rajinder Bazaar Association),  Kuldip Wahi (President Bar, Restaurant and Hotel Association Jammu ), Anan Sharma-(president Petroleum Tankers Union Jammu ),  Baldev Khullar (president Raghunath Bazaar Businessman Association),  HA Siddiqui (Former Addl Advocate General), Prof MA Wani (Educationist), Ch Akhtar Hussain-(Gen Secy Gujjar Bakarwal Islahi Committee), Mohd Aslam Qureshi (DC  Retd),  Raman Suri (president Sarafa Association Jammu), S.
