JAMMU, June 14: Preet Singh, a Jammu boy has been inducted into Indian Army as officer.
Singh son of Satinder Singh and Avinash Kour, who is a resident of Gole Gujral Camp in outskirts of this winter capital of the State, was selected under University Entry Scheme (UES) while he was studying in NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore in ‘Electronics and Communication’ stream.
His father Satinder Singh is also an International Hockey player and National level Coach and is presently serving as Commandant in CRPF.
