JAMMU, Aug 2: S K Jain was today re-elected as president of Vichar Kranti Manch International (VKMI) in its general body meeting held here at Channi Himmat.
He was elected for the post unanimously by all the participant members of VKMI for the 2nd term of three years.
Consequently, SK Jain nominated office bearers and executive body members of the Manch. The office bearers included Dr Usha Tickoo, Ram Gopal Sharma and Prof Sarla Kohli as vice-president, CM Sharma as general secretary, Harjinder Singh as coordinator, Yash Pal Sharma as joint secretary, Parmajit Singh as publicity secretary.
RK Khazanchi, Giatnadan Jain, Ajit Singh Nagra, Prof PL Koul, Dr KC Dubey, Gohar Hafeez Fani, Dr Gurtmeet Singh, Vinod Sharma, Ram Pal Sharma, Rattan Lal Gupta (Rattoo Shah), Madan Mohan Sharma, Ram Rattan Sharma, Romesh Kumar Kaith, Sakindra Jain, Dr Kanta Kumari, Sushma Misri, Rashmi Jain and Nirmal Kumari Abrol were nominated as members of the executive body of the Manch.
While speaking on the occasion Dr Usha Tickoo, Ram Gopal Sharma, Ajit Singh Nagra, PL Koul and Romesh Kaith threw light on the aims and objectives of the Manch and appreciated the work done so far by the Manch headed by SK, Jain.
The election process was conducted by Ajit Singh Nagra while Chander Mohan Sharma compered the programme.
