JAMMU, June 12: The inmates of Jagti township have expressed serious concern over prevailing water scarcity in the town.
In a statement Sunil Pandita a social activist said that the people are facing many hardships due to water scarcity and despite bringing the issue in the notice of the higher ups in the Relief Organisation no steps have been taken to solve the problem.
He said water is main essence of the life and in this scorching heat its utility increases more but the concerned authorities have never taken the interest in settling the problem once for all since the construction of Jagti township over a decade back.
