JAMMU, Jan 20: A joint meeting of Jagti Migrants Welfare Committee (JMWC) and All Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) was held at Jagti Township under the leadership of Veer Ji Belove to discuss some core and important issues being faced by displaced Pandits.
The meeting lambasted Government for its failure in solving the genuine and important problems of the community.
It alleged that the Relief Organization was not taking pains in solving the problems of displaced Pandits which are compounding day by day.
While addressing, Pintoo Ji President (JMWC) said, the issues like bifurcation, issuing of RBA and State subject certificates, solving the problems of repair and renovation of quarters, slow pace work of hospital, construction of playground, lack of medicines in the existing Primary Health Centre, repair and maintenance of parks, street roads, Installation of street lights, supply of ration before 5th of every month and deputing of more police personnel at police post Jagti are certain important issues, which the authorities have failed to address.
While speaking, T.K. Dhar made an appeal to the Governor asking him to look into the problems.
Desh Rattan president AMCCC said, are not concerned towards the problems of the displaced people.
Others who spoke on addressed the meeting Ravinder Raina, Santosh Kumar, Chand Ji, Bublu Goswami, Raju Dhar and Raj Nath Pandita.
