JAMMU, Dec 12: The inmates of Jagti township in a meeting held under the leadership of Vijay Kaul a social activist while highlighting their demands criticized the Government in delaying the payment of relief and ration to the migrants especially the relief holders who have no other sources of income except the cash assistance given by the Government.
The meeting, which was also addressed by Sunil Pandita said that a large number of migrant families have not till date been given the ration of November month while the December ration and relief has not been released to all migrants.
The meeting said that Relief organization has made it a routine affair not to release the ration in time for last several months putting the hapless relief holders to problems.
They warned agitation in case the ration and relief was not released within days.
The meeting was attended by Sunil Ji, Rinku Pandita, Sanjay Kumar, Kuldeep Razdan and Rajinder Dhar.
