JAMMU, Oct 23: An IPS officer of 2008 batch of Jammu and Kashmir cadre, Abdul Jabbar, has proceeded on Central deputation for his induction in the Intelligence Bureau.
According to a Government order, Jabbar, who is presently posted as SP Traffic, Rural Kashmir, will be on deputation with the IB at the level of Superintendent of Police (SP) for a period of four years from the date of assumption of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The State Government has relieved Jabbar for his posting in the Intelligence Bureau.
