J-K records 198 new COVID-19 cases, number rises to 7,695; toll reaches 105

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday recorded 198 fresh COVID-19 cases, raising the tally in the union territory to 7,695, while the death toll reached 105 with four more patients dying of the disease, officials said.

“Four persons, who were COVID-19 positive, have died over the past 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir,” the officials said.            Three deaths were reported in Kashmir while one death was reported from the Jammu region, they added.

The fresh deaths raised the toll of coronavirus-infected persons in the union territory to 105 — 13 in Jammu province and 92 in Kashmir division. (AGENCIES)
