JAMMU, Apr 6: Delegation of J&K ITI United Front, headed by its State president Nazir Ahmed Molvi, called on Hilal Ahmed Parray, Commissioner Secretary Technical Education and Director Technical Education, J&K Shabnam Shah Kamili at their respective office chambers and had detailed discussion on the long pending genuine demands.
The delegation demanded placement of Head of the Institution viz, Principal ITI Rajouri, Superintendent ITI Bani, ITI Sunderbani, ITI Reasi, ITI Surankote, ITI Banihal, ITI Ballesa, ITI Bhaddu / Billawar in Jammu division and Superintendent ITI Hajin, ITI Kulgam, ITI Rohama, ITI Char-e- Sharief, ITI Khuri Batpora, ITI Lalpora, ITI Gurez, ITI Handwara in Kashmir division.
The delegation also demanded holding of DPC meetings for Gazetted cadre to clear the pending promotion quota posts and filling up vacant post of two Joint Directors, finalization of recruitment rules, change of nomenclature of VI & GI Posts, recommending one post of Senior Training Officer on five units by DGT, regularization of Adhoc employees who have completed seven year service in accordance with the SRO-255.
The Commissioner and Director Technical Education admitted that all the discussed demands were genuine and they directed the concerned quarter for immediate settlement of the same.
The delegation comprised of Karan Singh (general secretary), Subash Chander Sharma, Kuldeep Singh, Rajinder Singh Bhau, Mohd Shafi Beig and others.
