BANIHAL, Jan 21: The National Conference (NC) has urged its cadre to gear up for all out efforts to isolate elements inimical to special status of the State and its pluralistic ethos.
During a convention of NC at Ramsoo near here today, NC District Ramban President, Sajjad Shaheen claimed that NC is the only choice for all the public spirited political workers who want to contribute to development of J&K.
On this occasion, many workers of other parties joined NC.
Shaheen said NC stands equitable development of all the three regions of the State with opportunities of progress to all.
Prominent among those who attended the convention included district functionaries, delegates, newly elected Sarpanches and Panches.
Those who addressed the convention included NC District Senior Vice President, Mirwaiz Atta Mohamed Katoch; District Vice Presidents, Mohd Afzal Wani, Mohd Sadiq Naik and Saif-ud-Din Dar, Block Presidents Haji Abdul Ahad Shan and others.
