JAMMU, June 2: By adhering to all social distancing & hygiene measures, Gandhi Global Family (GGF) J&K in collaboration with Indian Systems of Medicines (ISM) J&K organized third COVID-19 medical camp in Jammu.
Indian System of Medicines (ISM) supplied the immunity boosting medicines and it was distributed for free among the locals by Gandhi Global Family at Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha, Krishna Nagar, Jammu. 360 persons mostly senior citizens and children were examined by an expert team of doctors deputed by ADMO Jammu Dr Suresh Sharma. Earlier, an awareness talk on COVID19 was conducted by Ankush Varma and Dr Vishal Pratap Singh, GGF Youth Response Team.
In his message, Dr Mohan Singh Director ISM recommended everyone to adopt herbal medicines and enhance their body immunity. He further expressed that the need of the hour is to quickly boost our immune system so that our body is fit enough to fight against corona virus.
GGF J&K president Dr S P Varma expressed his gratitude towards ISM J&K, Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha Krishna Nagar, The Bethel Charitable Trust and Gandhi Global Family J&K COVID-19 Response Team for their timely collaboration and service towards society amid the global humanitarian crisis.
Dr Shefali Sharma, Dr Sukhpreet Kaur, Nishad Khajuria and Kashish Sharma represented Indian Systems of Medicines Jammu, while Dr Prem Sharma, Jaswinder Singh Kuku, Amit Varma, Dr Vishal Pratap Singh, Ragav Changotra and Ankush Varma represented the Gandhi Global Family J&K. Abhishek Gill & Krishna Kumar (volunteers of Bethel Charitable Trust) ensured hygiene and screened everyone with temperature sensor.
Shri Guru Ravi Das Sabha made local arrangement inside Gurudwara at Krishna Nagar, Jammu while the camp was inaugurated by Piran Ditta (president, Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha). SHO Nowbad SI Deepak Jasrotia, Parshotam Mehra, Camres David (Babbloo), Anil Angral and Vrinder Gogra were also present.
