JAMMU, Mar 28: After filing nomination papers, Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for Jammu-Poonch constituency, Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher today visited several villages of Bishnah, held “Public Darbar” and listened people’s woes.
The ‘Public Darbar’ was attended by a mammoth gathering from the concerned as well as adjoining areas, in which people accentuated their problems.
Earlier, Isher reconnoitered different areas of the Bishnah including Kotli Mian Fateh, Gaggian and Khan Bahadur, where he found lack of basic amenities.
While listening to the problems of the people during ‘Public Darbar’ Isher assured people that the party will work for the resolution of these problems, if came to power. “I assure you all that the day I come to power, all these problems will be dealt with prime concern,” said Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher.
He further said that after travelling the interiors of the Bishnah he found that most of the people are living without basic amenities. The area does not have proper road connectivity, drainage system while the schools are in dilapidated condition and health facilities are equivalent to none” he said, adding all these issues are on top priority of SDP.
Inspired by the farsighted vision of Sardar Gursagar Singh Isher, a large number of people including women and youth of the Gaggian village joined the Party.
