IRP 15th Battalion organises Route March

JAMMU Sept 13: The Indian Reserve Police (IRP) 15th Battalion (Mahila Battalion) organised an impressive Route March with 196 officers and officials including GOs taking part  in  the trudge to pollution free area of Bahu Fort Jammu,  covering a distance of 6 kms.
Route march is a regular feature under the directions of ADGP Armed/Law and Order, K. Rajindra, IGP Armed/IR Zone Jammu, Gulzar Singh Slathia and DIG IRP Range Jammu,  T Panchuk  to keep the troops in good health and high degree of alertness to meet the challenges of any unforeseen situation.
It also gives the over stressed personnel an opportunity to move in open air with no strings attached except highest standards of public conduct.
Meanwhile, IGP AP/IR Zone Jammu, Gulzar Singh Slathia has sanctioned a cash reward alongwith C.C Class-I in favour of 32 women officials of IRP 15th (Mahila Battalion) in recognition of their dedication and devotion towards their duty. DIG, IRP Range Jammu, T. Panchuk distributed the   cash reward alongwith certificates to the awardees.
