JAMMU, Feb 14: IRCON International Limited has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Railway in Dhaka for upgrading of signalling at 11 stations between Ishurdi-Darsana sections of Bangladesh Railway, recently.
The Agreement was signed by Sagar Krishna Chakraborty, Project Co-ordinator & GM, Bangladesh Railway, and  Mohan Dudeja, GM (S&T), IRCON in presence of Minister Md Mazibul Hoque, MP, Ministry of Railways; MD Abul Kalam Azad, Secretary, Ministry of Railways, Bangladesh, and senior officials of IRCON and Bangladesh Railway.
The contract has been secured on stiff international bidding at a cost of approx USD 10.70 million, funded by ADB.
