JAMMU, Dec 30: The senior INTUC leader, Pushkar Nath Pandita has expressed grave concern over non payment of wages to causal workers of DD Jammu for last three months.
In a statement issued here, today Mr Pandita said that these casual labourers were earlier also not paid the wages for months together and it has been a routine affair for them.
He accused the PBCI, of deliberately discriminating with Jammu DD and putting the causal workers to mental agony and torture by not releasing the funds for their wages in time. He said by not paying the wages for last three months to the casual workers of DD Jammu some of them are at the verge of starvation.
He also demanded regularization of these casual workers as some of them are working in the DD Jammu for over last 20 years.
