JAMMU, Jan 5: Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) demanded necessary equipment for the Power Development Department (PDD) and Public Health Engineering (PHE) employees working in snow bound areas in Kishtwar district.
In a statement, Behari Lal Thakur, president, INTUC, block Sarthal, Kishtwar said that the PHE and PDD employees are facing lots of problems while working in snow bound areas of Kistwar district.
He demanded rain coats, shoes and torches for the employees, so that they can work in the snow bound areas.
Thakur urged the PHE and PDD Ministers to redress the demands at the earliest for the sake of the employees.
