Intruder held in Cantonment area

JAMMU, Mar 15: Army today captured a Myanmar national from Army Cantonment area and handed him over to police due to his suspicious activities.
He had disclosed his identity to Army as Rahentula, 26, son of Kal Miyan R/o Dhuli Jawala, district Sohyaja, Myanmar.
Army PRO Col RK Palta said alert jawans of the Army observed movement of a civilian intruder in Army Cantonment area when he jumped the wall inside the Cantonment at 6.30 pm. He was captured and quizzed but couldn’t give satisfactory answer except for disclosing his identity.
Army found 100 takas of Bangladesh from his possession.
He disclosed that he had come here 10 days back and was working as casual labourer.
“Nothing could be ruled out at this stage”, Col Palta said when asked as to whether the intruder was a suspect.
He added that the intruder has been handed over to Gandhi Nagar police station for further investigations.
