International Exhibition by JKCCA inaugurated

JAMMU, Nov 1: International Exhibition of Art by Women Artists- 2020 (Online) organized by J&K Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA) Jammu was today inaugurated by Adwaita Gadanayak, Director General, National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi.
One hundred and eighteen art works by women artists from ten countries are displayed in the exhibition. The exhibition curated by O.P Sharma, Founder Director JKCCA Jammu will be on display upto November 21, 2020.
In his inaugural address Adwaita Gadanayak said, “JKCCA Jammu under O.P Sharma, Director is doing a great work of organizing International Exhibition of Art by Women Artists (Online), by connecting the artists of the world during the hard times of COVID-19 pandemic.”
O.P Sharma said role of female artists taking part in artistic activities in a large number needs appreciation and be recognized by the organizations working for the development of their artistic pursuits.
The artists included Raj Bharti, Jammu; Chandana Khan, Hyderabad; Bandana Nath, Guwahati; Neena Singh, Pune; Dr. Mamta Singh and Dr. Shashi Jha, Dehradun; Sushila Bodade, Indore; Shubhada Bhosale, Pune; Prof. (Dr.) Chitralekha Singh, Agra; Nirpuma Tank, Gujrat; Anita Elgerot, Sweden; Dora Labora, New York; Aparazita Rehman, Dhaka; Mamta Patel, USA; Laura Caro, London; Bandhita Worasri, Thailand; Fareha Zeba, Bangladesh; Reena Singh, Australia; Aruna Dhade, Doha Qatar; Keyla Hannani Morel, South Africa; Muberra Bulbul, Turkey; Jamilya Baramikova, Vietnam; Amrit Kaur, Antima Manhas, Shivani Koul Bhat, Sanjogita Dogra, Deepa Soni and Nidhi Jain and others.
