JAMMU, Nov 24: Ranjit College of Education organized Inter-College Rangoli Competition in collaboration with Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), Jammu Chapter.
Participating teams were from Ranjit College of Education, Sant Mela Singh College of Education, KC College of Education and Cybernetic School Kunjwani Jammu. They prepared Rangoli depicting the cultural heritage of Jammu like Jhiri Mela, Kashmiri culture, Bahu Fort and Dogri culture.
The programme was judged by Prof Prikishit Manhas from Hospitality Department, University of Jammu and Prof Anurag Gangal Department of Political Science, Jammu University.
On the occasion, Ranjit Singh, Patron RCE was the chief guest, while Dr SM Sahani, former Director Tourism Department, J&K and Convener INTACH Jammu Chapter, Co-Convener Kuldip Wahi, Prof BD Gupta Controller Board of Professional Studies, Prof Manjit Singh from Department of Travel and Tourism Management, Central University of Jammu and Barnika Gupta, Conservative Architect were present on the occasion.
Earlier, Dr Renu Gangal, Principal RCE presented the welcome address.
The programme was managed and compared by Prof Ritu Choudhary, while Prof Devinder Singh and Er Manmeet Singh, Chairman RCE praised the efforts of the participants.
