UDHAMPUR, July 26: The installation ceremony of the Rotary Club Udhampur was held under the supervision of Rtn Dr Dushyant Choudhary District Governor, R.I District 3070 along with District Chair Water and Sanitation, here today.
Before the installation ceremony, Rtn Dr Dushyant Choudhary and District Chair interacted with all the Club members at Conference Hall of Rotary Hospital Udhampur, followed by the main function was held at KLSM Rotary Eye and ENT Hospital Udhampur which was attended by all members of Rotary Club Udhampur, Dharmthal and Katra besides eminent citizens of Udhampur town.
The function was inaugurated by chief guest DG Rtn Dr Dushyant Choudhary with Rtn Chief Guest Rtn Rohit Oberoi, Assistant Governor Rtn Ramesh Kapoor, while Rtn Puran Lal Sharma, Rotary Club Udhampur delivered a welcome address and presented the activities report and Rtn DN Sharma chairman Rotary Eye Hospital presented the project of the Club, bio-data of District Governor, besides vote of thanks was presented by Rtn Colonel Hargovind Singh.
Rtn Rajendra Sanson was master of ceremony who compared the whole programme.
The outgoing president Rtn Rajeev Gupta extended his heartfelt thanks to all the members of the Club for supporting him to fulfil the objective of Rotary in all avenues of services. He welcomed the incoming president Rtn Puran Lal Sharma and his team.
The incumbent president, Rtn Puran Lal Sharma extended his heartfelt gratitude to all the members for reposing confidence in him to lead the Club during the year 2022- 2023. He assured that all the projects started by the outgoing team will be completed in time.
Members of Rotary Club Udhampur including Rtn Rajendra Sanson, Rtn Surjeet Singh, Rtn SS Kerni, Rtn PL Suri, Rtn Manjeet Singh, Rtn Rajeev Gupta and many others were present during the event.
