Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, June 2: The Government today initiated inquiry against two Junior Engineers (Civil) of Public Works (R&B) Department for forgery and managing fake DO letters. Official sources said that taking serious note of the conduct of Junior Engineers- Muzaffar Abdullah and Tarun Gupta, Principal Secretary to Govt PW(R&B) Deptt, Shailendra Kumar appointed Dy Secretary (R&B) Farooq Ahmed Malik as inquiry officer to conduct indepth probe into the charges framed against these two engineers. Under Secretary to Govt, Karan Singh has been appointed as Presenting Officers while 21 days time has been given to the Inquiry Officer to complete the task, seeking assistance from CID/Crime Branch of J&K Police.
