Phoenix, You Shall Rise!

You are a legacy that lives,

You have braved the hardest storms,

Like the Phoenix, you shall rise !

Grieve not if today isn't yours-

There is no refuge but God alone.

Like the Phoenix, you shall rise!

From your own ashes, you'll rebuild,

A dreamland for your posterity,

You are a living community,

Like the Phoenix, you shall rise!

Even in tempests, you have rekindled dying flames.

Have you forgotten '65'and '71'?

You stood tall with courage, not undone.

With patient hands, you healed your land,

A resilient people, proud you stand.

Rise, fear not- let hope remain,

From ashes lost, be whole again.

Rise, O brave hearts of Poonch, rise!

Let grief not chain you to the floor.

Rise again with hearts that heal.

Let wounds become the strength you feel.

Rise, O brave hearts of Poonch , rise!

Like the Phoenix, gather strength-

And beautify your world anew.

A TRIBUTE TO VICTIMS

To remember them a befitting tribute of sort

Pen down few lines I thought.

We didn't wish to die

Reason us not why?

Like a bubble on earth we came

In sudden gruesome pahalgam attack died and lost our name.

In some cases doctors efforts failed

And we perished.

The world was a temporary phase

Heaven will be our future place.

A big tragedy befell

We all will be remembered in times to come.

Our final call to all brethren remain united and live life full

Don't fall apart.

Live life full

Live every moment

And help all.

We never wished to die

Reason us not why?

Lot of pending works left behind

Accomplish the same and find time

Let us go as our time has come .

Breathed our last breath and couldn't survive.

Left pains and aches behind

For no fault of yours or ours

Whenever our loss will haunt you

Dare to face the demon head on .

Silently shed tears

Let welling up of tears not hinder your growth

And please move on

Despite numerous constraints enroute due to our loss .

Our untimely loss should disturb you not

Stop your growth not.

May you grow from strength to strength

Definitely forget us and move on.

So what? If tears welled up in your eyes

Of our irreplaceable loss .

A sincere advice control your emotions and move on.

Forget about our loss

And take care of all.

Play with grand children

Keep company with your frontline friends

And move on .

Life is come and go oh ! our beloved spouses

Earth is no permanent stay.

Here we land

Stay for a while

And take off for next journey .

We will not meet again

Good you do

Before you fall too.

Our humble call

Good bye to all.

Everybody will perish sooner or later is true

Give us all the very best to stay in heaven .

Death is reality

Fantasy is rest

Love you all , last our bye bye call

Take care all , god bless all.

We were on pilgrimage to mini Switzerland

Baisaran valley as it is known.

From tourists angle in great demand

We went to enjoy but once for all gone.

Gone forever

Forget us never.

We didn't know as we would never return

Our deaths will be revenged,

Their wicked ways avenged.

From blood-soaked fields we rise,

A warning to their eyes.

The price of evil done,

Shall burn beneath the sun.

No tyrant shall forget,

Our souls will haunt their threat.
