Inner voice

The Show must Go on

Our nears and dears
In whose lap we play
Without any fears
One day cease to stay.

Yet we have to learn
To live on without them
Our heart might burn
We can’t hold their hem.

Empty we find their room
And without them their bed
As we sweep with broom
We can only our tears shed.

Their memories do haunt
Their goods and belongings
Yet meet them we can’t
Despite our fond longings.

How sonorously they talked
How they would stand
How gracefully they walked
How we held the hand.

That took us to fields vast
And to see the colourful flowers
To watch the sky overcast
And to experience the showers.

How to cope up with their absence
And sit sans them in the lawn
Though we can’t feel their presence
The worldly show must go on.

Strive And Bloom

Come and hear
Nature’s voice
Feel the peace,
Ecstasy, rejoice
Dwell in present
Make it beautiful
Be loveable, nice
And dutiful
Forget the gloom
Strive and bloom
Remember God
And His glory
Be truthful
Create a story.

Autumn Breeze

Crisp autumn air
Brightly lit blooms
Fruity scent
Crunching of leaves
Fragrant breeze
Swaying of branches
Leaves twirl and
Herd of reindeer
Robins chirp
Squirrels gather nuts
Foxes play
And rabbish in bush !

Summer Nights

The smell of the summer night air
Takes me back to times we shared
You and I dancing beneath the moon
Crickets playing a loves tune
Trees full with lush green leaves
Whispering poetry to you and me
A view from beneath a Missouri bluff
Talking of passion, love, and lust
Your hand in mine strolling the path
Sitting on the deck and looking back
Picnic tables and barbecue grills
Driving and parking, is this for real?
My memory’s filed with your sweet love
Do your remember that snow white dove?
A kiss goodnight under a star filled sky
Best friends forever, a promise, no lie
It excites me to think that every year
Whether life or memory return here
We will create magic again I know
On a summer night in the moon’s soft sphere
