SRINAGAR: The army today foiled an infiltration bid near the Line of Control (LoC) in Naugam sector of Kashmir, killing one militant.
“One militant has been killed during an infiltration bid. It was foiled by alert soldiers in Naugam sector in Kupwara district,” an army official said.
He said the operation continued till reports last came in.
This is the second infiltration bid foiled by the army this month.
