JAMMU, Dec 22: Appreciating the significant decision of Central Government of extending package of key incentives to the J&K Industry better than North East Industrial Development Package, former Industries Minister, Chander Prakash Ganga, today said that this will prove as a boon for curbing unemployment menace in the State by boosting industrial growth towards new dimensions.
“We the people of Jammu and Kashmir express our deep gratitude to Modi Government, J&K Governor, Satya Pal Malik, Union Minister for Industries and Commerce, Suresh Prabhu and Union MoS PMO, Dr. Jitendra Singh for their endeavours towards giving this new year gift to the State entrepreneurs” the former Minister said while lauding the efforts of Governor’s administration for pursuing and securing this Industrial package for the State.
Jammu and Kashmir State has vast industrial potential with numerous skilled and unskilled manpower and this enhanced industrial package will do wonders in generating enhanced employment avenues in the State, asserted the former Minister. “Tremendous growth in the industrial world with these extended incentives will boost the State’s economy thus making it a hub of industrial revolution”, he added.
He said that all the skilled and unskilled entrepreneurs besides, youth with expertise in various technical trades like textiles will get benefit of this package to a great extent. He hoped that the State’s youth will optimally utilize this package from the Centre Government to generate employment for themselves and others as well.
The former Minister lauded the role of Shailender Kumar, then Principal Secretary Industries and Commerce, MP, Jugal Kishore Sharma, National vice president, BJP Avinash Khanna, State president, Ravinder Raina and everyone who put in hard efforts for getting this substantial industrial package for the State.
