JAMMU, Sept 3: One day industrial motivation-cum-awareness programme was organized by MSME at GK Institute of Training and Research Nagrota in cooperation with KVIB and J&K Bank for the benefit of educated unemployed youth of the area who mostly belongs to SC/ST categories.
Speaking on the occasion KK Goyal, Asstt Director (IMT), MSME focused on the need of entrepreneurship development for the educated unemployed youth of the State and motivated the youth to set up their own venture so that they can help in the development of the country by setting up of their own units in manufacturing or service sector.
Pawan Gupta, District Officer KVIB, Jammu who was also present in the function explained different schemes of KVIB in which subsidy based loans are available with special additional subsidy upto 35 per cent to SC, ST and women for setting up of their units in manufacturing and service sector.
Harphool Singh, Manager J&K Bank Nagrota also motivated the youth of the area and ask them to approach bank with the project reports for the units to be established and assured full support from the bank side.
At the end, Director, GKITR presented vote of thanks.
